The place is awesome for a large group. Chad was a great host. Highly recommend! Most attractions in Acadia National Park are 30-40 mins away. Ellsworth (where the Airbnb is) has many quick food options as well so it's an ideal location!

We arrived from Texas for a girl's weekend, none of us having ever been to Maine. Initially, we found the house easily and were so pleased to drive up to the charming facade. The house was so lovely and excellent for 4 people, as we each had our own room, and the perfect gathering spot for catching up over late night talks around a fire, either inside or out. The on-line photos were an exact representation of the beautiful home. Chad, the host, was helpful, friendly and responsive to special requests. The coffee bar offerings were exceptional! Although Ellsworth was a distance from Bar Harbor, where we spent most of our trip time, we would definitely stay at this stunning house again when back in the area.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Pets allowed?

No. In consideration of guests that may have allergies, we do not currently allow pets.

Does the house have heating and cooling?

Yes. The house has zoned heating. Thermostats are located in the dining room, second floor master bedroom and the garage.

Do you offer young child and/or baby supplies?

Yes. We rent our gear from licensed and insured companies. If there are specific items that you would like for your children during your stay please let our host know. We are happy to provide all baby gear (e.g., cribs, pack and play, monitors, etc.) at no additional cost.

Is firewood available for the firepit?

Yes. We provide a limited supply of firewood for each guests stay. If additional wood is needed beyond what was provided it can be purchased directly through your host or through several local stands.

Is WIFI available?

Yes. High speed WIFI is available throughout the house.
